ContactWho am I ?I studied psychology but work in the field of fundraising. Mother of two allergic children, I dedicate a lot of my free time to food allergies and their management. This website is based on a brochure I wrote to answer the following question which has haunted me since the day my daughter had an allergic reaction to an omelet I had prepared with love: how can I make sense of all of this? You are reading the answer to this question. I made this website for allergic children, to help them better understand their allergies and to live with them. This site is also for their parents, to help them cope better with these allergies: it is possible to live like everyone else. I also hope that this site will allow those who are not directly affected by allergies to better understand us; I have too often been told "Don’t you think you're exaggerating" Feel free to contact me! ContributionsIsabelle de Mallmann has a Master in Psychology from the University of Paris. She is also a registered EMDR therapist (Eye Movement Desentization and Reprocessing) in Europe. She works in agencies and through her private practice with children, adolescents, and adults (psychological therapies, psychological assessments and guidance). Dr. Philippe Eigenmann is an assistant physician at the HUG (University Hospitals of Geneva) where he is responsible for the department of pediatric allergies. He also runs a clinical research program and a laboratory on the mechanisms and the management of food allergies. ThanksI want to thank for their contributions: my brother for the design of this website, my children and my family for their patience and support, my friends and all the people who participated in the project. Without them, this project would never have been completed! |
